Tea in Singapore
Skipping down walk way of the lit up city, Lane's hands swung from side to side. It had been a few weeks since she had torn the asylum apart from the inside, and yet, authorities were still trying to figure out the cause...So many lunatics claimed that a single child took out the entire staff...with the ability to climb walls and teleport from one place to the other...The authorities thought this was nothing more than a story, but yet, they still have no explanation on what had happened at Briarcliff on that fateful night. Blood spraying the walls, and screams echoing against the brick walls....Lane was only out to give the scientist a taste of his own medicine. After all the medications...restraints..electric shock therapies...elephant tranquilizers...After all of this, Lane felt absolute no remorse... Which actually didn't say much, Lane didn't even know the definition of remorse.
Pausing at the steps, Lane giggled and hoped like a bunny down each step. Taking her time, to pause between each step. Next to the steps seemed to be Singapores pride and joy...Some lions shoot water from his mouth. "Silly Lion," Lane giggled to herself. She didn't understand this world, she understood how the world worked in wonderous ways....But this certainly wasn't wonderland...This wasn't the land Of the mad and crazy...this was just a land of true sadness. Once reaching the bottom of the steps, Lane reached her hands out and spun in a circle. Allowing her dress to just barely lift. Once stopping she reached her hand out, her pointer finger extended and giggled towards the butterfly that later landed on it. "You are a far ways from home. Shoo! Shoo before they find you" Withdrawing her hand and allowing it to rest back at her side, Lane watched at the butterfly flew off, back into the night sky.
The place she once knew was in war... it had been since she had come here at least five years ago. For a place of nonsense, and no such things as time..people still seemed to try to control it. They were now in PA, Post Alice'S return..but things still hadn't gotten better. With the fight against the Jaberwocky, everyone had thought things in Wonderland would get better...and they did...at first. But now, Creatures were fleeing..seeking out way to not only help their home land, but also themselves.
Walking up to the edge of the water, Lane knelt over and looked her reflection over. Smiling widely, the Cheshire would now become to obvious to those of Wonderland.

Re: Tea in Singapore
Peering out through the crack of the fish scaled stone door, she quickly stepped out and re-situated the floppy hat on her head. Just as quickly as she had entered this realm, the door behind her faded away as though it was never there. Casually leaning up against the rather odd looking Lion-Fish, she toke a moment to catch her breath. It certainly wasn't anything like that of Wonderland, but she tipped the brim of the hat at the strange creature before running her fingers along her signature sapphire bluejay feather, neatly tucked between the hat and a black satin bow. This wasn't her favorite form of hat, but it would do in this city.
Looking out across the way, she tilted her head watching as she played with the shapes of the ripples in the waves. Following the edges of her shapes she noticed a familiar smile reflecting off the water. Grinning herself, she skipped over to the small girl and extended out her palm where a delicate pink tea cup trimmed with gold appeared to be resting. "Care for some tea old friend?" She smirked tipping her hat to the small girl.

Re: Tea in Singapore
Looking over towards the woman, Lane studied the familiar face for several seconds before her pupil altered slightly, giving a cat like appearance...A Cheshire appearance...This appearance in her eyes only lingered for several seconds before Lane carefully took the tea in her palm. Looking down at the tea, Lane let out a soft sigh before looking back up at Haesel, it had been a while. "You were late for tea" She allowed her words to sink into the air, he irony of the situation was almost too much for anyone to understand....So instead of being upset...they would merely joke on the matter.
Taking a small sip of the tea, Lane looked up at the night sky before teleporting behind the woman to the top of the stairs. Giggling softly, she threw the tea cup at her. She had missed people of wonderland...People who could truly understand. "What took you so long? I was admitted into an asylum, medicated for insanity, and destroyed an Asylum all while waiting for you!"

Re: Tea in Singapore
Haesel grinned slightly shaking her head as she recognized the cat-like features appear and disappear again. "You dog you," She let out a sly grin, casually bitting on her lip as the girl suddenly disappeared. "Don't you care for tea?" However Haesel was used to tricks like these, in fact she felt more at home with this small cheshire than she had in the several months she had just spent there. "Although I am terribly sorry, it does seem to always be tea time don't you think?"
As she spoke, she turned around just in time to catch the tea cup perfectly upright in her palm. She took another sip from the cup and cleared her throat, "My dear friend, our home is in great... peril. Everything that was, isn't. And contrary wise, what wasn't, is. You see? Haesel wiped her hand across her forehead, it was quite difficult to speak of such grave matters, one shouldn't walk to closely with their own madness, one might fall into the endless depths and never return.
But enough of that nonsense, Haesel fixed her hat yet again, although it did look quite nice crooked. She smirked to herself shrugging off her thoughts and let out a soft chuckle. "Do answer me this, what is always coming, but never arrives?

Re: Tea in Singapore
Riddles were something that were commonly found within Wonderland. It was like an accent, a accent Lane surely missed from her home lands. Giggling softly, Lane grabbed the edges of her dress and twirled again. Twirling around for several seconds before stopping in front of her. "Many things..." Lane giggled softly as her arm swung at her sides "Change, Forgiveness.." A wide smile fell upon her face as the final word rolled off her tongue "Sanity"
Hoping down the first step of the stairs, Lane plopped herself on the stone step, sitting in the upright position. "Hmm..But that wasn't the answer you were looking for...Was it?" Looking away quickly, Lane seemed to be thinking faster, talking faster, and functioning faster, much lie a Cheshire would. "No, No, Of course not...That would be too simple." Giggling softly, Lane leaned back against the edge of the step behind her. "What was isn't, and what isn't is, and what was is now nevermore, and what is not is ever more...Change.." Like clockwork, Lane seemed to space out slightly right after her phrase trailed out, she starred into the distance, not even seeming to have the time to blink.

Re: Tea in Singapore
" The time has come my little friend," The hatter raised the hat off of her head and set it gently on the ground. As the fabric touched the ground it took on a new form, that of her favorite hat. A rather ornately designed navy black silk top hat, adorned with the most delicate lace, that she may or may not have stolen from a particular queen back in the day. Trimmed with an ivory colored satin bow that held the sapphire bluejay feather and a small card marked 10/6. Now obviously the prices of hats had gone up since original times, but the 10/6 meant much more amongst the Hatters, adding an alluring magical like quality to the hat.
"The time has indeed come my friend... time, what a silly concept.." She winked at the Cheshire girl and clutched onto her pocket-watch that took the shape of a casual yet trendy necklace accessory at the moment. "We certainly can't stay here, for tea time has come and gone. It's high time that we set sail, unless we want to be caught painting the roses red." Haesel nodded giving Lane her typical smirk and began to spin the magnificent top hat, where they were transported inside a tall octagonal room with mix-matched tiles on the ground. Each wall was made of a different material, and varied in color according to the door that was situated in its place. Most of the walls were also lined with oddly placed curtains, some over doors, some simply draped over nothing. "Which rabbit hole shall we travel down this time, the path is yours to choose, a world of options lie before you, but it is what lies behind the door that will reveal itself once chosen."

Re: Tea in Singapore
With her grasps slowly tightening around the tea cup, the sounds of crackling cups echoed into the air. The cup smashed in her hand as the smile on her face slowly grew, spreading from cheek to cheek. Dropping the smashed up tea cup fell into the air, disappearing like pixie dust into the night sky. This world was beginning to get to them...And the wonderland refugee's were suffering..but the question that everyone needed to know was...who would crack first.
"Well maybe we should just go see how the red roses are doing, if we are in fear of being caught." Giggling softly, Lane pointed in the general direction of where she predicated the woman she was looking for to be. It had been a while since Lane had encountered those of the Red Bloodline...actually it had been since most of the population went underground or into hiding to avoid Alice's cruel rule...It was time to go pay their dear friend a visit."I think it's time we revisit the red roses."
