A new beginning.

[Rion Diamond]

Rion smirked at the Imperial Traveler and then noticed Rowan coming towards him and he put Lucee back down. He looked around the room, things had changed here, the place had grown dusty, the floors needed a good cleaning and it looked as if hunters had set up shop here. He raised his finger to his lips, motioning for everyone to remain silent. His eyes turned a light purple, and souls flew from the ground. They took off through the home of the Immortals and scoped out the Hunters. Once returning, Rion assigned a soul to each fighting person to guide them into a room to clean house of the intruders.

[Rowan Sibyl Roi]

With her arms folded carefully in front of her, Rowan looked around her carefully. There were some others presence..that was for certain...but one was different than the others. There were hunters and humans..that energy was obvious but then there was...something else. Smirking faintly, Rowan leaned back against the wall behind her and watched the interactions going on before her. There was some obvious tension between some members of the immortals, but that's usually how such powerful figures would interact.

Looking towards Ape, Rowan chuckled softly. "Looks like we don't have to find her after all...She's already here."

[Clarissa Meridian Earl]

It'd been like any other day on the Immortals Island: training, skills assessments, reviewing any Hunter alerts they'd gotten in the last 24 hours, etc., etc. Clarissa had been completing the last, but nothing pertinent had come in. Well, in the logs that is. Claire could feel a change in the air as she looked up from her desktop, and could now see some weird beings were roaming through the compound. "What the heck..?" She questioned under her breath, standing from her seat. That's weird. I've never seen a ghost here before, or at all, really. That had to mean the Hunters had visitors, exactly what Claire had been waiting for. She wasn't sure if the human Hunters could see the beings, but calmly stood as not to raise attention, and went about her normal business to exit the room, no longer watching the ghost-spirit-thing.

While making her way through the upper hall, Clarissa utilized her Hunter skills and training, pinpointing that the ghosts were being commanded from the entrance the Hunters seldom used. Lucky for whoever decided to make their way back to the Island. Approaching the closed door to the entrance, Claire turned the handle and pushed it open, stepping through the threshold to face a small group, made up of a kid, two younger women, and a man. "You must be some of the Immortals!" Three of those in the group looked familiar from the original records she'd discovered, and immediately she realized she shouldn't have just barged in on unknown probably-hostiles. At least I'm nearly indestructible, she grinned to herself.

[Lucee Carina Sinclair]

Lu's heart filled with joy at seeing her old family together again, giving her a type of strength she couldn't describe, even to herself. Dazed by the excitement, the transition through the place she had heard Ape call the void, was a little shocking. When they first arrived to the island she like to call home, she could hardly recognize it. Lucee could tell there were other beings here by the way the vegetation sat. Sure the underground residence was meant to be hidden and some of it was just from being abandoned, but this growth was unnatural... they were trying to hard to hide their presence. Which was actually pretty naive of them, Lucee laughed to herself. The irony, at least it's not me this time...

But she could also sense something else, it made her very uneasy. At first she couldn't quite put her finger on it but sure enough it came to her. There was darkness here, and it was equally terrifying and thrilling all at the same time. Lucee stood close to Rion at first, afraid to venture much further than the shadows of his legs. When the woman appeared Lucee nearly jumped out of her body. It startled her, but she had a kind enough face, and Lucee always saw the best in people.

Taking a few steps in front of the group, Lucee smiled and gestured a shy curtsey. "Hello... I'm Lucee. If you want to be my friend, you can call me Lu. I hope we can be friends, we just want to come home." Focusing her best on the light inside of her, maybe relying a little on her compelling charm, she knew things were going to be ok.

[Aeparia]

"You're a soul controller now, too?" Aeparia questioned, standing away from the creatures. She'd died once, and didn't particularly enjoy the fact those who remained dead were stuck controlled by someone else. She supposed she was lucky then, as not everyone gets a second chance and enhanced abilities. Turning towards the door as it opened, Ape removed her spelled charm from her neck and placed it in her back pocket, revealing silver reaper sheathed on her hip. She unsheathed him and pulled Lu back in a matter of seconds, raising her weapon in a defensive position. Of course, Aeparia knew Lucee could tell when someone was truly a threat, but this also had to be a Hunter. "That's right, we're the Immortals. And we're taking back our home. " Ape agreed, giving Lucee a smile.

[Rion Diamond]

Rion smirked and eyes the new girl in the room and stepped forward, "You're in our home. Either you leave, or I force you to...You aren't a Hunter. Who are you?" He nodded towards ape to let Lu know to stay by her for protection. His eyes remained purple, letting the souls conjure all around him forming an ancient armor and helmet. "The Immortals are back, Reast, I know you're here. Come on out and play. I don't have all day to deal with you hiding, why don't you come out and play with our guest and save me the trouble"

He smirked and the souls took off at all of the hunters screaming, tearing through them, never leaving any visable damage but damaging the human hunters from the inside. "I don't like to use my powers to hurt people, but hunters aren't good people.

[Rowan Sibyl Roi]

Rowan took this time to observe the different figures and faces. It was interesting how creatures so different could all come together in semi-harmony for a common purpose. But...what would the common purpose be this time....Was this just merely one big family reunion. Or was this really the turning point of the war. Either way. These people were still Immortals. What she wouldn't be.

[Reast Istoría Vu]

Death lingered in the air. It had every day since that fateful day when the eclipse ended it's stride. Some days, Re could hear the voices screaming inside her to stop. That enough was enough...But other days the whispers persuaded her that more was always better...More pain, more screams, more blood, more death...And how could she argue? More was always better..In all ways except one. Time.

Time hadn't been a kind companion to Reast, for each day the darkness only seemed to cloud and consume her mind all over again...She had killed thousands...and after nine years of pure hunting, Re had lost count on all the lives she had destroyed. Wolf tribes....clans...entire cities...No one was the exception...Well almost no one.

The steps echoed the halls like music to her ears. Who was here? Was this fate? All the positive thoughts still couldn't out weigh the darkness consuming her...The temptation. Evaporating into the air, Reast reappeared by the unfamiliar face of a girl who Rion had been speaking to. While she hadn't yet noticed the others, this un-familiar seemed like fair game. Phasing like she was one with space and time, Re moved fast to smash the woman into a near by wall. Bringing her hand to her neck, she slowly raised the women to where he feet no longer could touch the ground. This is what the voices were screaming for, they would soon be pleased.

[Clarissa Meridian Earl]

"Well, I am a Hunter, but not really. I was only 12 when the world found out about supernaturals, I've been at this island for 3 years waiting for the Immortals to come back-" Clarissa's hasty explanation was cut short by a wall suddenly making friends with her back. "Hey!" She shouted as the outer lay of her throat turned to a semi-thick layer of steel to protect her neck from the woman attempting to choke her. Her abilities were a bit rusty after not being able to practice or use them actively, but they would have to do. She hung from the wall, glaring at the woman in front of her.

[Lucee Carina Sinclair]

Lucee wasn't sure how to react to Ape pushing her aside. Letting out a huff of frustration she began to speak up for herself, when she saw Rion's approval of Ape's action she held back. Maybe she didn't know exactly what everyone was capable of quite yet, and it was best to let the "grown-ups" figure it out. Trying not to reveal her irritation with the situation she began to fumble with her hair. She listened carefully to the conversation without bothering to look up, the woman's name was Clarissa. Why was she looking for us in the first place, and what does she want now that we're here....

And that's when things got quiet. Lucee casually looked up from her curls not sure if she believed what she saw before her eyes. Was that... Re? Not even realizing, her jaw dropped and she let out a quiet squeal. With one foot firmly behind her and the other forward, she cut her leap short and backed up in horror. "Re.... what are you doing?" All color drained from her cheeks as she shook her head in disbelief, Re won't kill her.... at least that's what Lucee would like to think. She glanced back at Rowan, the desperation clearly filling her eyes, "You said you needed my help?"

[Aeparia]

The entire situation was beginning to get worse and worse. Reast was back, and on the Island? What were the odds of that, and her not reaching out to her people? Slim to none, Aeparia decided. Something isn't right. Ape gently pulled Lucee further away, simultaneously gripping Silver Reaper tighter in her hand. There was no telling what Reast would pull in this state, and she also wasn't sure what powers Lucee had now. Reast was unpredictable at best, and she clearly wasn't at her best now. Aeparia then eyed the woman who was being held against the wall, and frowned. "She's one of us, that's for sure."

[Rion Diamond]

Rion watched as Re moved, her movements were graceful. More so even than when she was in control. He let his eyes fade back to normal, one grey, one light purple and he walked over next to her and gently grabbed her wrist. "Let her go. We can't get answers from her if she can't speak once you crush her vocal cords." He tilted his head and played with the girls hair and a slight smile came over his face. "You're an adapter. Your powers are weak because you've been hiding out with the Hunters. You want revenge but I'm not sure why. Your soul tells many things but it isn't telling everything. Re, let her go. It's time for you to do what is needed in order to gain control, Lucee, work your magic. Balance her out..or..unbalance, whatever it is she needs."

Rion turned around and scanned the room, his one grey eye turning to match the color of the other and he was looking through the souls that were checking out the Immortal's home. "I've got some Hunters to take care of." The air around them thickened and then Rion let his Spirit Guide form free and he took off in a purplish pink spirit form to take out a few hunters.

[Rowan Sibyl Roi]

With so much going, Rowan hardly noticed the change in atmosphere. Reast had finally made her grand appearance, and she did it exactly how Rowan had expectes. Hostility. Folding her arms in front of her body, Rowan observed the interactions between Rion and Re before kneeling down closed to Lucee. "It's time to fix her." Rowan maintained a composed face as she looked at Lucee for several seconds. Her eyes then drifted back towards Reast. "When the time is right...run up and hug her. That spark of yours. ..release it all to her." Rowan felt this was a lot to ask of little Lucee, but she knew she had it in her. Especially when it came to possibly saving multiple lifes.

Rowan, being a leach could have absorbed Lucee's abilities but not to the same capability as the carefully trained child. She didn't have the time to adapt to the element...time wasn't on their side in the current situation.

[Reast Istoría Vu]

Snatching her wrist away, Re tightened her grip on the woman's neck. "Damned fool...Re mumbles softly before a small smile crawled upon her twisted lips. In that very instant, all the lights seemed to turn off instantaniously. No one could could stop her, the voices wouldn't allow saving...not this time. Observing the woman's neck, Re chuckled softly to herself before squeezing tighter on the adapters steel plating. It was a slow process but the steel plate was soon dripping with blood....not the blood of the adapter though...the blood of Re...

"Adapter are my favorite...do you know why?" Re chuckled against softly as her blood dripped down to some of the bare skin of the woman. Looking her in the eyes with her pure black eyes, Re smirked faintly. "Blood magic."

In that very instant, Res blood scrambled into the adapters pores, attacking her ability to fight things off from the inside. Attacking every bit of her being...and only Re had the ability to shut it off. Releasing the woman's neck, Re let the adapters body fall. ..the attacker blood cells attacking the woman from the inside would cause unbearable torturing pain...attacking her abilities and capability of fighting the cells off...

[Lucee Carina Sinclair]

Lucee listened to each person, and she listened as closely as she could. This wasn't Re, something was taking hold of her and everyone was relying on her to fix it. Lucee felt particularly guilty, Re was never like this around her, and she could only imagine how Re might feel after realizing that she had witnessed this little... scenario.

Lucee waited, watching what Re was doing. Taking in her every move. She wouldn't let this happen to Re again, this wasn't her and Lucee knew it. Taking a few steps forward, she placed one foot in front of the other as light a a feather, pausing only a few feet from what could potentially be the death of her new friend Clarissa. Lucee liked names, she felt they gave people power, besides what was a person without a name?

Lucee took several deep breaths then smiled, Re was home, and that's all that mattered. The grin on her face spread, it was rather hard to avoid when she felt this kind of power. Re empowered Lucee, made her feel important and needed. Without any hesitation Lucee placed an open palm on Re's back, and then wrapped her arms as tightly as she could around her waist. She was short but her hold on Re was affective. She could feel the energy racing through her which only empowered her more, willing for Re to gain focus again. Lucee would never be able to describe the joy she felt in this moment, Re is home.

[Clarissa Meridian Earl]

Clarissa gasped at the sudden pain she felt inside her own blood, balling her hands into fists as she willed herself to try and adapt against the attack. She was too out of practice, and this blood magic was something she's never faced before. When the woman, Reast, finally released her, Claire crumpled to the ground and fell onto her side, sweating from the pain, but she refused to scream. Surely, Clarissa could think of worse situations, besides her body fighting against itself in torturing pain. At least, she tried to think, but lost focus as the young girl approached her attacker. Lucee, she remembered her introducing herself as, hugged her and released a light to balance with the darkness. The darkness, her last thought before losing consciousness.

[Aeparia]

Aeparia stood back as the scene unfolded in front of her. Lu, saving the day. She'd grown so much in such a short time for her life. She hoped the woman Reast had attacked, Clarissa, wouldn't need medical attention. Adapting, that surely meant she could fix herself up once Reast was fixed. Ape sighed loudly, muttering, "Well this is a fantastic welcome home party."

[Rion Diamond]

Rion allowed the others to take care of Re, he had to make sure the hunters were gone before things got worse. He flew through the hunters, dropping them one by one, stealing their souls with his reaper abilities. This was easy for him. He'd store the souls and then move the bodies into a shadow world then return the souls to different bodies. He had to get a laugh out of this some how. He didn't want to kill the hunters, they were doing their job, but he wouldn't let them get away with the evil they were doing to what they claimed to be monsters.

Once he took care of his plan, he went back to the main room and watched as the scene unfolded. Re had been using the blood magic that she had taught him. She was truly amazing at what she had mastered. The blood magic was something even he never got a complete grasp of. He knew the basics but nothing he knew could save this girl. If what Lucee was doing didn't work, he knew he would have to be the one to go after Reast. He couldn't let the others get in her way because they wouldn't stand much of a chance.

It wasn't that they were weak, but they were young and inexperienced with battle. Ape had taken her fight with Re once and we all know how that turned out. Rion leaned against a wall and took the scroll off of his back and unrolled it slightly then pressed Betrayal into the paper to ship it back to the chest through the link connected by the scroll and the chest. He wouldn't need that sword. That was part of his past that he had moved on from. He had a new weapon now. he pulled out a hilt and held his hand over it as purple souls began swirling around the hilt and growing. He would call it Soul Thief. It would collect souls and grow in power according to the souls it captures. For now, it would start slow and be weak, but eventually, this blade would be powerful, potentially the most powerful blade to exist if he collects enough souls.

[Reast Istoría Vu]

This woman was hers. There was no doubt in Re's mind that she would be the one to end this adapters life...slowly and in the most morbid fashion. This particular strand of Blood Magic work as an attack to the immune system, making it to where the host even struggled returning to a baseline while master of the strand still actively attacked. This would mean for the woman to be safe, Re would have to either withdraw her attack, be killed, or be knocked out cold.

Things were all going to plan...after this woman Reast had decided she would take out every other individual standing in her way... anyone who dared to control her. Everything at least seemed like it was going as planned till Re froze in place, her eyes growing wide. While Lucee's presence hadn't been noticed earlier, it was certainly the brightest presence in the room now.

There were few that Re wouldn't right on fight, but Lucee was on of them...she was her medication, her balance...like a little sister. Re could feel the battle inside her body begin to cripple her. The voice screaming as a sheet of light muffled their tones. They were getting quieter...and quieter. It was odd really, for Re had heard nothing but these voices for nine years...they were all she really knew.

Everything became heavy. Her body, her head, her eyes...and like that, Re's body collapsed to the ground completely unresponsive. With the manipulaters body being put under, the virus blood magic pushed out the adapters pores and evaporated like water into the air. It was almost as though it had never existed in her blood stream.

[Lucee Carina Sinclair]

Lucee held Re tightly, pushing every last ounce of love and light into the one person Lucee wasn't afraid to risk her life for. The energy that flowed through her only made her feel stronger and more empowered than she'd felt in well...ever. As the power inside of her tiny body began to grow, she develop a subtle aura with a golden hue. Lucee could feel that Re was becoming heavier with each second that passed, and did her best to make her fall to the ground as soft as she could manage.

Assuring that Re hadn't harmed herself on her fall to the ground, Lucee carefully sat criss cross beside her and took Reast's head in her lap. She brushed her hand through Re's tangled hair and smiled to herself as she leaned down to place a soft kiss on her head. Her right hand began to stroke Re's head while the other rested on her shoulder, keeping contact with her so that she could continue to run light through Re as an effort to keep her calm. Lucee was beaming as she looked up at the others, "Shhh, she's sleeping."

[Clarissa Meridian Earl]

Clarissa gasped awake as the pain in her blood suddenly left her body, replaced by a different kind of pain that she knew well, but probably needed to know better. Her own blood, now untainted, was adapting itself back to a healthy amount, and the last of the metal around her neck faded back into skin. "Holy crap.." Claire muttered, pushing herself up to a sitting position and leaning against the wall.

She looked around now, closer at the visitors, the Immortals. Her attacker, Reast, lay on the floor, protected by the child, Lucee. Then there was the man, Rion, who controlled the..souls. And Aeparia, the short one with black wings. Only the other woman in the room wasn't semi-familiar to her from reading and going through old records. Her eyes widened as her thoughts finally slowed, and rational thinking returned to Clarissa. The Immortals were back, and she wasn't exactly their friend right now.

[Aeparia]

Aeparia frowned as the scene finally calmed down. Reast and Lu were back together, fantastic for the both of them. Hopefully now Reast wouldn't be prone to the tendencies of a mad woman, and attack people they could get information from. She nodded towards the girl Reast had attacked, looking at Rion and Rowan. "What are we going to do about this problem?"

[Rion Diamond]

Rion watched as Lucee worked her magic and then listened as Ape talked. He stood up and clicked a button on his new blade and let it hang from his side. This blade would work like a light saber almost. He looked down at the girl that Reast had just been attacking and he grabbed her wrist and pulled her to her feet not so gently. "I know you've just went through a lot, but we need to talk. You're going to tell us who you are, why you're here and why you're with the hunters if you're like us. I won't be able to be stopped from killing you by something as simple as a hug if you pull any moves. I may have been gone for a while, and i may have gotten rid of the Hollow and my demon, but it makes me no less powerful. I've acquired new powers and i plan on absorbing two more souls to become complete. Now, lets take this conversation elsewhere and let Lucee and Rowan handle Reast since they seem to have things under control with her." He turned his attention back to Ape and smirked, "Lead the way, Replacement Leader."

[Aeparia]

Aeparia rolled her eyes at Rion's comment, but nevertheless, she gently put a hand on Clarissa's shoulder while aiming her other hand at Rion, and used the Void to transport the three to the Lounge.

Once they emerged, Ape crossed her arms and stepped away from the girl, allowing Rion to take the lead on things.




**Ape Clarissa and Rion continue in So Many Questions, Immortals underground unit -> lounge**

[Rowan Sibyl Roi]

"Useless" Rowan mumbled to herself. What a useless family they were. No wonder they fell apart those ten years ago, they were incapable of staying strong even with each in the same room. Instead of finding strength in one another, they found strength in constant plotting and plans for more...they were no different than the hunters. There was no heart.

Letting out a soft sigh, Rowan carefully walked over towards Lucee and knelt down. "We should move her somewhere else." Rowan looked Reast over for a moment before looking back at Lucee. "That way when she wakes up she can wake up in a better mood..." Odd enough joke, seeing as Rowan was certain no matter where Reast woke up ot wouldn't matter. Rowan actually knew Reast better than most would expect... especially seeing as at one point Reast was Rowans godmother.

Lifting her up and slinging her over her shoulder. Rowan gave a reassuring nod towards Lucee to lead the way. Being a leach had its advantages, such as being capable of carrying more than the average person.
