Reast's Quarters
Lucee watched Rowan like a hawk as she took Re from her lap, assuring that Rowan wouldn't cause any harm to her. It made her slightly uneasy that Re was so vulnerable, but Rowan didn't seem much like a threat, at least not this very moment. She took a slight lead, only a few steps ahead of Row glancing back every few seconds to reassure that Re was still there. Lucee stopped just at the entrance and put her right hand forward. Snapping her fingers and twisting her palm up to reveal a small light orb. Lucee winked at Rowan and held her hand out to show her, "It might get a little dark the further we go down, this will help us a little."
As they descended the dark and dusty hallways of the Immortals, Lucee kept an eye out for any hunters that might still be roaming around the maze of hallways. However she found that reaching Re's room went without any obstacles. It was almost unnatural, but Lucee found it quite comforting to be in her dark home once again, navigating the hallways with ease, as though she had never left. They arrived at Re's door, causing Lucee to hesitate. She couldn't remember ever going inside of her room, but she doubted that much was left anyways. She nodded to Rowan and opened the door all while holding the light orb out in front of her. As she entered the room Lucee tossed the orb up towards the center of the ceiling, bringing the lights in the room to life.
Lucee hurried over to the single bed and fluffed out the spread, which brought a layer of dust into the air. She let out a quiet sneeze before swatting the dust away from her face. Turning around she motioned for Rowan to place Re down, while she ran across the room to retrieve a chair from the small desk in the corner. She set the chair right beside Reast's pillow and took a seat with her elbows on her knees and her chin rested in her palms. While she waited for Rowan to get Re settled, she began to look around, observing every last detail of the bare room.

Re: Reast's Quarters
It was restless, and at times painful to be infused with so much light...such a large amount of purity... but it was always something that was seen as a must in times such as these. To keep Reast at a steady level, she usually need infuses like these at least twice a week, and it could even be fron mere contact with a light mending individual, such as Lu. The reality was, Re hadn't had any interaction with light since the eclipse...since 10 years ago.
What was even worse than the initial surge of energy, was the after effects of waking up. There was pain, but the pain was associated with a sense of control, a sense of balance. The three usually bedded together, could even be seen as partners. Carefully rolling over, Re finally forced herself to slowly open her eyes. At first there was nothing but a blurring light...but after a few blinks, the room started to become clear.
She was in her room. At least what was left. And Lucee was here, she had stayed even after all that she had seen...Re quickly looked away from where Lucee was and began pushing herself to sit up. There were things to get done. Orders to sort. And heads to roll.

Re: Reast's Quarters
Lucee watched as Re slept, peaceful at times but mostly she fidgeted in her sleep. Still she stayed by her side, occasionally taking a warm wash cloth and dabbing her forehead. Lucee hoped she would wake soon, she had so much to tell her, so much to ask her. It almost felt like an entire piece of her had been missing for these past ten years and suddenly she felt whole again.
After what had only been a few hours at most, Lucee noticed that Re was stirring more than usual and sat up taller in her chair. Maybe she wasn't ready to face Re, maybe Re was angry with her for running off. Or maybe Re hadn't missed her at all. Biting on her nails she squirmed in her chair as Re's eyes flickered open. She scooted to the edge of her chair and quickly took hold of Re's arm. "Wait... where are you going... You need rest. Time to collect your thoughts." Lucee frowned at Re shaking her head,"That wasn't you back there was it..?She knew the answer to this question, but it was more of wondering if Re knew what the answer was. She let her hand fall into her lap to show her trust, and awaited what Re's next reaction would be.

Re: Reast's Quarters
Now looking towards Lucee, Re was taken by surprise. Had it been that long? Lucee was almost at age where she would pause in the aging process...and Re had missed it all.. The world around her was spiraling in change, and for the last ten years, all Reast could do was tear others apart...literally.
Turning her body carefully to face Lucee, Re smirked faintly and tucked one of Lucee's loose strands behind her ear. "You've grown up so fast..." Reast's voice seemed calm as she observed the growing girl. But anyone who truly knew her would know there was sparks of sadness in her voice. She hadn't been there for her...that much had become clear...and though there was so much to get done, Re felt she couldn't leave Lucee here without answers. Without anything.
Letting out a soft sigh, Re picked Lucee up and sat her next to her on the bed. Both of their legs dangling over the side. "There are some things that just can't be explained... not without harm being done..." Re seemed to stumble over attempting to explain her actions to Lucee. ..how do you explain mass death to anyone anyways. Biting her bottom lip, Re sat there looking away from Lucee and down at her hands in careful thought. It had been here. The entire time it was here. There was only one Re. Two sides to one Reast. There was no one to excuse her actions, no one to bring those back who she had brutally slaughtered. So for now, she just wouldn't talk about it.
"Lucee, there is much we should talk about...there are some things you must learn before they come looking.." Re gave a gentle smile towards Lucee, attempting to reassure her that she was fine.

Re: Reast's Quarters
Lucee sat still and listened as Re spoke, it was so nice to hear her voice again. Her face lit up, and a grin spread to her cheeks as she listened closely to what Re had to say. It made her happy that Re remembered her, and noticed the subtle changes. That's what made her so special, she understands. She knew what it was like to be this way, and she cared about Lucee, while most might feel threatened by her, Lucee felt safe.
Lucee couldn't tell what Re was thinking, but she could see that she was contemplating what to say. However Lucee didn't need much of an explanation, the fact that her Re was back with her, here in this moment, Lucee was happy. Happier than she'd been in years, Lucee smiled and wrapped her arms around Re's waist to hug her. "You don't have to explain yourself to me." Lucee slowly let her go, she didn't want to seem to clingy, even though it was quite difficult not to. What Re had to say next worried her, who was coming here and why were they so concerned with their whereabouts. "Who is coming, and why? What is there to learn...?" She tilted her head, puzzled, so many questions raced through her head, but for now she would stick with those few.

Re: Reast's Quarters
Standing up from the bed, Re took Lucee's hand carefully. It was a rather uncommon gesture for her, but she was certain this would help prove that she wasn't leaving again...She didn't plan on leaving them...again unless she left in casket. Awaiting, Lucee to stand up, Re looked around the room for a moment. t truly had been a while...the entire sanction was probably in need of some redecorating. Her glance then returned back towards Lucee. "Are you ready?" She knew the young girl had to be filled with questions, but most of the questions were things that Reast just couldn't answer...At least not yet. Walking towards the door, it seemed as though they were about to take the long way to their destination. But instead, Re took Lucee and evaporated into the air. It was training time.
Re knew it was true. She wouldn't leave here unless she left in a casket. This was her family. The one's she would die for.
