More than Small Talk

[Alyana Parish]

Alyana was a bit surprised when Phillip did the poofing teleport trick. She didn't realize Reast has left Alice's village and Aly behind. Maybe Re had known Phillip was in town and Aly would have had to turn around. There were several ideas and thoughts going through Aly's mind as Phillip uttered a thank you and then vanished. Confused, Alyana walked over to the fountain where Re waited, and Aly crossed her arms as she stood across from her. "Why is that guy not allowed to see Rowan?" She questioned first. The subject was sore for Aly, and she wanted to know that first off. Secondly, she wanted to know, "And where did you go earlier?"

Keeping her arms folded in front of her body, Reast stood there, her body unaffected by the gentle breeze brushing through the town. The situation had turned hostile in Re's mind quickly, the moment she saw Phillip with Aly. Luckily he was kind, and Aly seemed unharmed. Not bothering to look away from the fountain, Reast sighed softly as Aly finally spoke. She broke the tension of the situation, of Re's thoughts. "He left her mother before she was born." Turning back around to face Aly, Re tipped her head ever so slightly. "I don't know if you would like all the details..."

"He is her father, yes but the decision to keep him away from Rowan was made by Alice." Turning back to face the fountain, Re sighed softly. Phillip and Reast used to be friends...worked together..hunted together..killed together. But that was a different time then. The Blood of Eight was a different time. A time before Phillip betrayed the group and cost the groups lives...It was something not many could forgive, Re wasn't even certain if she could forgive just yet. "You must be careful, despite what bull shit he will try feeding you. You don't have the best record when you betray Reast even" Chuckling softly, Reast shook her head as she pulled a coin from her pocket. Observing it for several moments, Re sighed and let it lie on her thumb nail before flipping it into the fountain.
