Let the Games Begin

[Nya Nýchta Phobos]

It had been a few days since Nya can been recruited to this underground community of lunatics. While it seems they each had different reasoning's for being there...They all shared one common trait. Uncertainty. It became absolutely certain that nobody within this community was absolutely certain about themselves nor those they surrounded themselves with. These negative emotions, these troubled vibes....It was all she needed in order to prosper in her abilities.

Leaning back against the beautifully cushioned couch, Nya took in this moment to enjoy the atmosphere. Leaning her back against the couch, Nya closed her eyes. She could sense others were coming...the emotional backgrounds were beginning to change within the room. Her skin was beginning to crawl slowly, someone wasn't happy within this housing unit. Smiling slowly, Nya sat up and opened her eyes. Game on.

[Kyson Ray]

Kyson wandered the halls of the Immortal territory and was trying to grow used to what door led to what place. It was a lot bigger here than he had imagined and he had gotten lost about a thousand times before he started to get to know where to go. He found the library finally and went through the race section and just started reading, he wanted to find out about the people who had introduced themselves, and so, he started his search with the Nightmare girl, Nya.

[Nya Nýchta Phobos]

Nya starred at the ceiling for several moments before finally rising to her feet and turning the corner that led to another door. Grasping the knob in her hands, Nya paused for several seconds before carefully pushing the door open and walking inside. A library. How interesting. One step after another, her feet echoing against the walls. It wasn't entirely certain what she was looking for just yet, or who, but she knew someone was here.

There they were. Pausing for a moment, Nya allowed her finger tips to rest against the spin of a book, just barely pulling the spin enough to throw the book off balance. The book fell from where it once was, crashing into the floor, making a loud enough noise to echo through the halls. Looking over at the trickster she had met at the meeting, Nyas eyes shifted into snake eyes for a second before shifting back. "Oopsy"

[Aeparia]

Aeparia walked through the halls silently, her arms crossed over her chest and her cloak gently fluttering as she walked. She had left her hood down after the meeting, wandering aimlessly through the Underground. Eventually she'd ended up back in one of the many halls, and headed for her room. Her room, though, wasn't a bedroom at all. It was an open balcony for her study, and also a location where she could access The Void.

Considering heading there now, Aeparia paused as she heard a loud thump from the library. Wondering if someone was having trouble, Ape changed directions and walked into the library, looking between the two in the room already. Two of the new members of Immortals, Nya and Kyson. Frowning as she looked at the book lying on the ground, Aeparia had pegged them both as trouble makers. "Yes, oopsy," She rolled her eyes, heading to the shelf closest to her and began scanning the titled of the book spines.

[Kyson Ray]

Kyson looked up with a slight smirk, knowing now the basics of what a Nightmare was capable, he tilted her head, watching her.  She would need to feed off of emotions.  Without saying a wod, he let his eyes shift to a bright, sky blue and the books began to dance through the air pages turning and the flipping of the books sounding all throughout the library.  Soon though, the library started to shake, the shelves burt once the books from the shelves started to turn to different birds, flying through the air and around Nya, the birds started to drop and fall to the ground, dead.  

He never took his eyes off of her though.  His smile never changed, he wanted to see her reaction.  He wanted to see what she would do when he cast a small illusion. Once he noticed the elf girl, he cranked up the havoc. He stopped the time within the room around them, everything froze, and he picked a book up and tossed it into the air, it never fell since the time itself was stopped, not allowing it too fall. He then smiled his wicked grin and tossed book after book into the air and then tilted his head at the elf girl and then, froze the time directly around her, put her one foot out, and then her other foot out and put a stack of books above her head, and then unfroze time, laughing as she fell, and the books fell on top of her.

Amusement, curiosity....All of which emotions seemed to pulse from the Trickster. He had been researching Nightmares, that was something she had known for certain. Tipping her head ever so slightly, Nya smiled watching the birds. As the last one seemed to fall dead, Nya's body took the image of a giant snake, eating one of falling birds in mid air. Her body coiled against the ground,but this was short lived as she realized they had more guests. Her body quickly seemed to shift back into her typical appearance as she looked back at the Elf. This had been the power house for Nya lately...Her anger...Her thirst for revenge...Yes. This was who had powered her up at the meeting.

Nya watched the two carefully, awaiting to see the Elves reaction to the Trickster...Would she grow angry? Or was this something elves were used to. After several moments, Nya returned her eyes to the book shelf, using her finger to locate the exact book she had been looking for. Pulling it off the shelf, Nya placed in her hands before walking over to a table and opening it up. It was the true in depth descriptions of Nightmares. If the Trickster wanted information, it was available.

[Aeparia]

Before she had a chance to blink, it seemed Aeparia was sitting on the floor, being bombarded and surrounded by books. "Ow! Hey! What in the fucking hell!" Ape cursed several more times as the last of the books fell, turning to glare at the Trickster. "You want to play that game?" Aeparia spoke as she stood, grasping Silver Reaper by his hilt, slowly removing him from his sheath as she headed towards Kyson. Apsenniel allowed her black wings to stretch out, giving some menace to her short stature as she finally stopped in front of Kyson, raising Silver's sword form to press against his neck. "I'll give you something to laugh about!"

[Kyson Ray]

Kyson watched her and couldn't help but laugh, "You are 4 foot nothing elfy, go home. You're drunk." He laughed and waved his hand and the books all rose and fell on her once more and then they surrounded her, and slid under her and carried her to the door. "There's the door, I showed you the way out. Kyson smirked and looked over at the Nightmare and then at the book she was reading and frowned, she had the book he was looking for. He wanted to take it, but he didn't want to be rude, yet, he was rude and so, he walked over and snatched the book and climbed up onto the bookshelf and started to read.

[Nya Nýchta Phobos]

Smiling faintly, Nya leaned back against the table for several moments before hopping to it on the table. This is exactly what she wanted. Swinging her feet carefully, Nya looked over at the Elf before looking back at the Trickster. "You know the information is inaccurate." Nya tipped her head slightly, as she watched him.

She already felt herself growing in power from the temper of the elf. It seemed the situation was working out exactly as planned. Each little detail was beginning to form, and fall into place. Nya looked back at the elf smiled faintly, "Adorable little person.." Her voice was obviously taunting, but seeing as only the Trickster only really knew much about her thus far. Which meant the Elf was still would play into her games.

[Aeparia]

Ape dropped Silver as the books lifted her up, allowing him to shift to Snake form and begin hissing and biting at Kyson's legs. Aeparia fluttered her wings a few times, giving her a chance to jump off of the books and land back on the floor. Muttering profanities under her breath as she put her hand out to summon Silver back to her. Shifting him to sword form, she walked to a table a bit a ways from the pair of troublemakers and placed Silver upon it before grabbing a random book from a random shelf and sitting down. "I'm not adorable," She glared towards Nya.

[Kyson Ray]

Kyson raised and eye brow and smirked, "I'll take my chances for now and observe you. You're not going to be followed around twenty four seven by yours truly. " He jumped down from the book shelf and tucked the book into his bag and went on with his day.

Kyson passed Ape on the way out and sighed, then whispered so only she could hear, "Don't let yourself get your emotions in a hissie fit around her. She feeds off of emotions." He walked out and back to his room then shortly after the walk back.

[Aeparia]

Aeparia frowned as Kyson approached her, putting a hand along Silver's hilt. "I don't throw hissie fits.." she muttered, looking at Nya after Kyson left.

[Nya Nýchta Phobos]

Watching the two with curious eyes, Nya chuckled to herself softly. Now things were beginning to grow fun. She watched at the Trickster left, expecting the elf to do the same, but she didn't, not yet at least. The Trickster obviously knew Nya was capable of far more then she led on, but Nya could say the same about himself and his illusions...They were in some ways, on a mutual field.

This elf, on the other hand. Now her anger, and lust for revenge, that is what made her powerful. She was small, but certainly feisty. Nya couldn't help but wonder if this was due to her lusting for revenge against Re, or if this was just what happened when you are a freak of nature and forced back from the land of dead. Nya circled her, observing her...Analyzing...Toying..She looked almost like a shark circling the target before going in for the kill. Pausing in front of the elf, Nya smiled faintly. "Well aren't you an interesting one. So angry.." Nya allowed her voice to fade out playfully. It was times like this that her accept became more apparent.

Lifting up a finger finger, Nya pressed her finger against where the elves heart would be located...Thus creating the nightmare-ish image of blood falling from her chest...rib's being broken...It was showing what it must have looked like when Re removed her heart. "Now I get it.." Nya removed her finger and chuckled to herself.

[Evony]

Evony walked throughout the halls of the place mapping, memorizing the area. She unconsciously walked on the balls of her feet out of habit. Its what she did as a young child, something she didn't need to think about...it just happened.

As she walked, she ran her finger tips along the side wall. Taking in the texture, becoming familiar with the place around her. It's something Evy was fascinated in. She loved textures, sounds, looks, she loved the idea of design.

Evony was so zoned in on the walls she didn't realize that she had passed the trickster in the hallway, nor that she had opened the door and come upon an encounter between the small elf and the nightmare. As she looked on towards the nightmare, she had an idea how she was...toying with the elf. Because she herself had witnessed the ability of Nya first hand.

Evy respects the Nightmare, maybe even admires the control she has over her abilities. Thus not wanting to interfere, she walks around the room, running her fingers across each crevice, bump, corner.

[Aeparia]

"I wouldn't say angry," Aeparia spoke, narrowing her eyes at the Nightmare's comments. "Just bitter, and refusing to forgive." Ape turned slightly as Evony walked into the room, then proceeded to ignore Ape and Nya to admire the masonry. At this Aeparia raised her brow, having expected her to get a bit more involved. Most people did, unaware to mind their own business.

Rolling her eyes, Ape turned her attention back to Nya as she lifted a finger against Ape's chest. Ape's eyes widened a bit, not sure how to react. She refused to go back to that place on her own, she wasn't going to let this Nightmare force her there. Aeparia calmly scooted her chair backwards, standing and stepping away from Nya's raised hand. "Get what?"

[Nya Nýchta Phobos]

Slowly tipping her head to the side, Nyas eye seemed to shift, beginning to look like Re's when they were in complete darkness. "You think she will let me have a turn to toy with your heart?" Nya was escalated on energy, still having preserved most o the negative energy from earlier. Looking back at the Adapter, Nya's eyes shifted back to normal...Well as normal as they could be for a Nightmare. While continuing to watch the Adapter, Nya spoke to the Elf. "Don't stop with the emotions." She looked back over her shoulder towards the elf. "Emotions, anger, that is what brings out the true monster in all of us Aeparia, the true monster."

Watching the Adapter once more, Nya seemed almost completely emotionless upon her face. But this was normal for her when she was around people she was observer. Give them absolutely nothing to latch onto...Absolutely nothing to absorb. Be absolutely no one, and everyone at the same time...

"One day we will all be alone, forced to pay for our sins through the tragedy of every person we have ever cared about and once the universe thinks we have suffered enough, the fates will step and string us up on ropes to be there very own puppets.." Turning to face Aeparia, Nya narrowed her eye slightly, giving the first true expression of emotion since she had arrived. "A little secret, Nobody is born a Nightmare."

[Evony]

At the mention of being alone, Evonys' shoulders tensed. She feared being alone in life, she's always been alone though. She paused in front of the middle book shelf, her hands dropped to her side as she thought. She couldn't be alone anymore, she wouldn't be alone anymore.

She looked over her shoulder at the Nightmare and Elf, her body tense. She knew she wouldn't..no, couldn't let everyone be alone again. No one wants to be alone in the world. "Maybe you're right, Nya, but then again...maybe not entirely. Yes, the world is a lonely place, but that's if you let it become that way. You always have a choice in your life."

Evony wanted to believe her words, she craved to believe that she had a choice. But even in a haze of ignorance, she knew that the world was a cruel place. That's it, there's no poetic quote to it. There's no happy ending, the world is a cruel, messed up place.

Her own personality confuses herself, she doesn't understand herself. Evy wants to love and live in a world where she can block out the evil and be pure. But another part of her wants to push people away, wants to let evil be one with her. That part wants to hate and hurt...and that thought alone scares her.

Evony realizes that she's zoned out once again, a terrible habit she has built up. She walks swiftly, elegantly towards Nya before she nods portraying an understanding.

[Nya Nýchta Phobos]

She was amused, that was to say the least. Amused by how this girl portrayed herself to be strong...to be confident...But the tension didn't go unnoticed, and nether had her surge in emotion when Nya had merely mentioned being alone. But, despite the fact that girl had decided to confront Nya, the girl have guts. Guts that could be sprawled across the floor...But guts none the less.

Tipping her head, ever so slightly, her head seemed to slowly slightly with the direction. A new Game, New Rules.

"A car comes crashing at you 80 miles per a hour, and someone has muted your abilities...Do you have a choice?" Nya smiled faintly as she looked the girl over. After several seconds she then circled her casually. "Or better yet, you become immune to dying of age but your family does not...You watch them all die around you...Where is your choice? Are you going to kill yourself?" Nya laughed softly to herself and shook her head, now stopping in front of the girl, wearing a gentle, but thoughtful smirk. "Someone comes in here, completely eliminates us all, but merely beheads you. The typical brain would last 7 seconds, drowning without oxygen...An Adapter's brain will last possibly up to 4 hours, but there is no coming back..You will sit there.for four hours with no way to end your life...no way to save anyone...Nothing." Nya's voice became gentle as she finished off her sentence and stepped away from her, standing up straight once more to regain her composure.

[Rion Diamond]

Rion walked in soundlessly, letting the shadows become a part of him to travel soundlessly.  He started to watch the two girls, then focused on Nya. "Nice story you're telling. " She had done something to petrify this girl once, why were they together now.  He put on a smile and laughed, Rion had little fears and from what he knew of Nightmares, which, wasn't very much, but what he did know, he knew that they fed off emotions, the negative emotions giving them more power, or so he thought at least.  He met her eyes fiercly, never moving his eyes from hers and finally, he spoke, "You seem to have issues like the rest of us, that much is clear by your, almost vengeful, hatred of sorts...not sure I haven't gotten a complete read on you yet, but what brings you to this place ?  What drew you here ?"

He waited for her response and unconsciously moved his hand to the small of Evony's back  and his smile turned sly.  The games truly had begun.

[Aeparia]

It wasn't difficult to see that Nya made Aeparia uncomfortable, to say the least. Ignoring her last comments, Ape re-sheathed Silver and made her way to another table, grabbing a book off of the floor as the walked. Ape absentmindedly listened to Nya and Evy, looking up as Rion spoke. She hadn't heard him enter, though, many Immortals had the ability to sneak up on people and into rooms. Taking a seat with her chair slightly facing the other three, Ape was curious as to Nya's answer to Rion's questions. She rolled her eyes as Rion moved his hand to Evony's back. Of course, no one in this place could go an hour without flirting or hitting on eachother.

[Evony]

Too focused on her own thoughts, Evony doesn't notice Rions' entrance nor his words exchanged to Nya. Torn from her thoughts evy's head snapped up to look at Rion when she felt a light touch on her back. The average adaptor let a half smile form across her face, revealing a small, barely noticeable dimple.

She knew her way around men and she most definitely had experience in the seductive area. Evy soon formed an idea in her mind, one that she would sure have fun bringing to life. With that thought she glanced up at the lad through her lashes, she was ready for a game.

Evony leaned into him slightly before pushing herself away and walking towards the opposite side of the room, making sure to look back at him over her shoulder with a wink. Thus portraying a simple,"Game on."

[Nya Nýchta Phobos]

Nya didn't even notice the interactions happening...The flirting, the comments, nothing, she was now merely focused on the new face in the room. Rion? Was that his name? Oh yes. He was the one from the meeting who made his introductions by threatening everyone. That's right.

Tipping her head slightly, Nyas face seemed puzzled as she repeated some key terms back to herself, "Vengeful...Hateful.." Now making a thoughtful face, Nya looked around before looking back to Rion. "I don't think I am capable of such emotions actually.." This time, Nya's voice wasn't playful but truly was a tone of confusion. She had never given much thought into those emotions, nor had she even thought of herself as capable of feeling many emotion to start with.

A small smile fell back upon her lips. "I was invited, It would be rude to decline such a....drawing invitation." Nya looked directly at Rion now, hardly even noticing anyone else within the room.

[Lucee Carina Sinclair]

Lucee skipped through the halls of the underground dwellings. She much preferred the open blue skies outside, but this was home for now so it would just have to do. With the two flower crowns draped on either arm, she slowed as she reached the hallway to what she believed was the library. It was so easy to get lost in this place, so many corners and dark hallways... What if she were to get lost... But just as the thought crossed her mind she grinned to herself. "Silly Luce, what good are you." She stopped for just a moment to focus on her palm, as the tiny orb of light began to grow. She took the small orb in both hands and continued to skip towards the library. There seemed to be a lot of commotion coming from there, she wondered if she would be able to poke her head in for a moment without being noticed.

As she reached the library she saw just who she was looking for. Ape! Lucee wasn't sure why everyone seemed to be so drawn to her, and why reast tended to grin so maliciously whenever they were in the same room. Nevertheless Lucee tries her best to walk up to Ape without distracting the strange woman who seemed focused on Evony and Rion. She smiles up at Ape, she always seemed to find her this way. Good thing she had made the flower crown, this would definitely put a smile on her face.

[Aeparia]

Aeparia smiled at a familiar face attempting to be inconspicuous as she entered the library. In a place like Immortals, surrounded by darkness and negative emotions, little Lu stood out like a sore thumb. "Hello Miss Lu, what do you have there?" Ape stood as Lu reached the table she was seated at, gently taking the calla-lily tiara from her. "Wow, this is beautiful!" Being around someone as happy as Lu definitely helped in improving Aerparia's mood.

As she placed the crown on her head, Ape's pointed ears twitched a bit, picking up a loud ruckus. "What is that?" On the other hand, of course, all of the troublemakers in the underground society were driving Aeparia mad. "Come along, Lu," Ape started, taking Lu's hand and heading for the exit. "Let's investigate!"

[Rion Diamond]

Rion smiled a bit and watched Nya, he was confused, but the problem was that, 'Who invited her?' And so, he asked her. "Well, who invited you? " he kept a close eye on her and watched as Evony looked at him and he smirked, "as for you, I'll be waiting." He winked at her and played with his ring again.
