Dimenticare, or as he goes by as a cover, Demetri, is very skilled at  hand to hand combat. Not only only that, but he is also very skilled in his illusion abilities. This was due to his parents being the Head Illusionist, the originals. He is capable of making those around him see whatever he pleases. This was part of why in his Younger Years he got in so much trouble for stealing. This was before he learned the true extent of his power of course. At age 18 he was sent by his father to run some errands by observing a small village away from their mansion, though Dimenticare did not understand the point of this task, he rarely questioned his fathers authority. He had only been gone two hours before smoke could be seen in the distance. Some villagers had felt threatened by the growing power that the Cormoin Family held and had decided to take matters into their own hands. At the time they had also expected Dimenticare to be inside as well. This is why he changed his name...But he didn't stop there. After giving himself a cover name Dimenticare hunted each of the seven men who burnt him parents home down. Death didn't seem like enough suffering...So instead Dimenticare seemed to grow in sync with a new ability that manifested during this tragedy. The ability to make other forget particular memories. Instead of killing these men, they let them remember their children...wives...families... but made them forget all of the information about them...Their birthday..names..important events..Everything gone. By the time he finished erasing the seventh man, Istoria Reast picked Dimenticare up for The Blood of Eight. And then by age 24 Dimenticare froze stopped his aging process.

From a young age Kozha had to learn that anything you wanted you had to fight for. She lost her mother at the age of 3 to infection, and her father at the age of 13 in a hunting accident. With no one left, Kozha was going to be shipped to the orphanage...This is when she made her run away. Kozha traveled cross country, attempting to make money by doing small chore for people. She continued attempting such a way of small cash until one fateful day. Kozha had gotten paid in order to clean out a barn, at this point she was the age of 17. While cleaning out some of the hay, the owner came in a tried taking advantage of her. At first it seemed at first it seemed as though he was going to have his way with her. It was at this time that Kozha's abilities set it. At first she hadn't even realized that she had shifted into a wolf with how much she had panicked. It wasn't until she was looking over his mutilated body and she saw herself covered in blood as well. The memories would come flooding back. Her jumping at the man...smashing her jaw down around his flesh and listening to it tear from his body..Kozha feared herself. She continued running and didn't look back, occasionally shape shifting in order to feed in time of starvation. It wasn't until the age of 24 Kozha was invited to join Blood of Eight in order to learn her ability...and make a difference in her own world.
